Vice - the uber-cool global media empire - asked us again to design their new digs from ground up. Because Vice is a multi-tentacled brand, the space had to be conducive to worker synergy. We were tasked with taking the existing space which was cramped and incongruent and transforming it into an open and airy work environment where employees and their ideas could circulate freely. We razed a few walls, built a few more (including one out of glass), fabricated a thousand pound concrete table and built a 70 cubby bookshelf used to archive back issues, books and DVD's published by Vice. The end result? An office befitting of the most ireverant and discriminating hipster.
